The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Actuarial Consultant to join our team at Zurich Canada. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a critical role in supporting the pricing process for Transactional Accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional actuarial support and advice to actuarial business partners, including insights into risks, underlying performance, and implications for the business.
  • Assist in the training of less experienced personnel.
  • Support the development of rates, rating plans, and pricing and portfolio management strategies.
  • Drive the design, testing, and maintenance of pricing models and tools.
  • Interact with external customers and clients through the pricing of large, complex products and individual accounts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Actuarial Sciences and 5 or more years of experience in the Actuarial area.
  • ACAS/FCAS or equivalent international certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
