We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in developing and maintaining a cloud-based email archiving solution. This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical infrastructure component that supports hundreds of clients worldwide.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a team of engineers to extend, enhance, and provide support for our service infrastructure. You will work closely with our support organization to identify problem areas and develop creative solutions to improve the overall stability of our archiving system.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, distributed systems, and concurrent programming. They will also possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to develop and maintain our cloud-based email archiving solution
  • Work closely with our support organization to identify problem areas and develop solutions
  • Design, develop, and deliver solutions to customers to help them resolve deployment issues
  • Provide after-hours support for high-profile issues
Requirements
  • Minimum five years of industry experience delivering commercial software with demonstrated technical expertise in C#, Java, or C++
  • Deep understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design and distributed systems
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production issues efficiently
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple assignments

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
