Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Department Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers with product inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Delegate and assist with the completion of customer availability process tasks, including section work, capping bins, and stocking picks.
  • Oversee the implementation of price changes and feature sets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead and support the team in achieving sales floor recovery and zoning objectives.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure associate breaks are taken in accordance with coverage requirements.
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to associates to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a grocery department.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with inventory management and control.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
