Job Summary

APG Canada West is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to lead the sales function of our Masonry product lines. This role requires a proven track record of growing sales and developing customer relationships. As a representative of our Masonry products, you will increase company revenue by expanding sales in the Edmonton and Calgary markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, and engineers to promote our Masonry products.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on the design and specification of our products.
  • Review project specifications to ensure accurate product selection and investigate opportunities for sales growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through industry associations, seminars, and lead sources.
  • Profile consultants and create account plans to increase sales and market share.
  • Conduct information sessions and training programs to promote our products and services.
  • Track and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic action plans.
  • Maintain a positive corporate profile and build key industry relationships through networking and community involvement.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of growth.
  • Experience using CRM software and advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Post-secondary education in a technical or business field.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to travel within western Canada and the U.S.A.
  • Basic understanding of the subcontractor and negotiated contractor sales approach.
