Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cage Cashier to join our team at Shorelines Casino Belleville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests, exceeding their expectations in a timely and effective manner
  • Handle cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, and cash counts, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies or suspicious cash activities
  • Redeem value chips and gaming tickets for cash, and verify and process machine fills, machine jackpots, and table fills
  • Issue opening floats to Slot Attendants and reconcile closing floats, while transferring and storing floats, keys, and record-keeping documents
  • Document and reconcile transactions, and communicate effectively with operational departments
  • Build strong working relationships with guests and employees, and comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements

Requirements:

  • Secondary School Diploma; Post-secondary education an asset
  • Smart Serve certification required or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights, based on business needs
