Impruv Living is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our health care institution, facility, or clinic.

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a reliable and physically capable individual to perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs. You will also be responsible for emptying trash cans and other waste containers, washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

**Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs;
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly;
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings as needed;
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems;
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances;
  • Perform safety and security checks;
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies;
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair;
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens;
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas;
  • Maintain inventory of supplies;
  • Cut grass;
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations.

**Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:** This position requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying. The successful candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

**Estimated Salary:** $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
