iOS Engineer III, Feeds/Business Experience Specialist

Reddit is a community-driven platform that fosters open and authentic conversations on the internet. As an iOS Engineer III on our Feeds/Business team, you will play a crucial role in building novel products and features that our users love.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on product and business strategy, leveraging your expertise in Swift and Objective-C to develop user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale.
- Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch, while reviewing code and design documents, and providing feedback on product specs and mocks.
- Participate in a team of thoughtful, fast-moving, and motivated engineers, contributing to standards that improve developer workflows, recommending best practices, and helping mentor junior engineers to grow their technical expertise.
- Continuously learn and improve your technical and non-technical abilities, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least + years of hands-on, professional software development experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, using Swift.
- Expertise in Swift and Objective-C, with familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design documents, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on schedule.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a self-directed, innovative, and action-oriented approach in fast-paced environments.
- Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Rust).
- Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a plus.
