iOS Engineer, Feeds/Business Experience Specialist

Reddit is a community-driven platform that fosters open and authentic conversations. As an iOS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building novel products and features that our users will love.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on product and business strategy.
- Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Participate in a team of thoughtful, fast-moving, and motivated engineers to improve developer workflows and mentor junior engineers.
- Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities.
- BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on, professional software development experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, using Swift.
- Expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design documents, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver projects on schedule.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments.
- Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Rust).
- Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a plus.
