iOS Software Engineer III, Commenting Experience

About the Role:

We're looking for a seasoned iOS developer with a passion for building high-quality, user-centric experiences. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with product, design, and engineering counterparts to drive technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for one of the largest sites in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the full development cycle, from technical design to launch, ensuring that our products and features meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on product and business strategy, building novel products and features that our users will love.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback on product specs and mocks, and help mentor engineers on the team to grow their technical expertise.
  • Continuously learn and improve your technical and non-technical abilities, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on, professional software development experience developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, using Swift.
  • Expertise in Swift and Objective-C, with a strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
  • Familiarity with unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design documents, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical, professional, hands-on experience.
  • You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure, with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
