Job Title: Research Analyst

Job Summary:

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst to join our team. As a Research Analyst, you will play a key role in assisting with multiple ongoing research protocols, working closely with Principle Investigators and Research Managers in the Schizophrenia Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of study databases and data analysis
  • Tracking referrals and metrics for the division's Centralized Recruitment Model
  • Recruitment and follow-up of study participants
  • Coordinating study appointments and procedures
  • Liaising with clinic managers, clinicians, and clinical staff
  • Organizing and maintaining study and regulatory documents
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of research ethics board (REB) protocols
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's of Science degree in global health or a related field, combined with one year of relevant research or clinical experience, particularly working with individuals with mental health issues, including psychotic disorders. You will also possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in PC software and internet search engines.

You will be detail-oriented, well-organized, and possess a strong technical aptitude. Experience in the administration of clinical rating scales and neurocognitive assessments is required. You will have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and be able to function well within a cooperative, collaborative working environment.

Bilingualism (English/French) and/or proficiency in another language is considered an asset.
