Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at CareCorp Senior Services. Our company provides superior healthcare, food, and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to residents, administering medications, and supervising care staff. You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessments, plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
  • Direct supervision of care staff to meet resident's needs
  • Provide personal care to patients, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and toileting needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care is a strong asset
Work Environment:

Our long-term care facilities are located in Burnaby, BC, and we offer a competitive hourly rate of $32.84. The position is part-time, with a flexible schedule that includes night shifts and weekends as needed.
