Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including nursing homes and home care. This will involve administering medications, conducting specimen collection, and monitoring vital signs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct specimen collection and laboratory tests
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to healthcare teams
  • Provide wound care and dressing changes
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
Working Conditions:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and work in a variety of settings.
