Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Dania Care Home in Burnaby, BC.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents. This includes performing assessments, planning and implementing care plans, administering medications, and supervising care staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications as prescribed
  • Supervise care staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and collaboration
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in dementia care (preferred)
