Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at CareCorp Senior Services. Our company provides superior healthcare, food, and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing personal and nursing care to residents, administering medications, and supervising care staff. You will also be required to perform assessments, plan, and implement care plans, and provide education to residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Supervise and direct care staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans to meet individual resident needs
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care an asset
