Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy.
- Measure, cut and shape materials to exact specifications using hand and power tools.
- Assemble and join materials to create finished products, such as furniture and cabinets.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry.
- Work Setting: Commercial and construction settings.
- Certifications/Licenses: Working at heights training and First Aid Certificate required.
- Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (dependent on location).
