Product Specialist

**The Opportunity**
Responsible for driving sales growth for all mining wear part product lines nationally (U/C, Buckets, GET, Etc.). Responsible for driving parts and service growth through account management for assigned customers.
**The Role**
- Provide technical and commercial support on assigned product lines to mining branches, mining category staff, and end users.
- Responsible for mining wear parts business as a whole (sales, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, etc.)
- Support outside sales team and mining branches with prospecting activities including market overviews, field population tracking, training, and quotation support.
- Maintain database on mining undercarriage, buckets, and GET installations and hours.
- Liaise with Supply Chain and mining branch parts leaders to ensure proper stock levels of consumables for assigned product lines.
- Delivers product training to mining category colleagues and end users for assigned product lines.
- Travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, opportunity identification, and installed base inspections.
- Performs the following activities, acting as the Mining Support Representative, for all assigned accounts:
- All sales functions related to the full complement of OEM and aftermarket parts and service offerings for mobile equipment.
- Liaise with Service Operations, other in-house departments, manufacturers, and all other relevant suppliers to determine status of orders, availability of technician support, and drive resolution of all customer concerns.
- Identify and resolves customer issues in a timely manner.
- Measure, monitor and report on U/C wear for mining shovels and excavators.
- Manage data collection for major component tracking program.
- Prospect and source new parts and service opportunities within existing accounts.
- Meet and exceeds all established sales targets monthly/annually.
- Creates and delivers quotations on parts and service offerings.
- Education: High School; College or Trade or Certifications
- Work Experience: 10 + years
- Knowledge: Parts operations, mining equipment, maintenance planning, etc.
