About the Role

We are looking for a highly qualified and seasoned Systems Architecture Consulting Engineer to contribute to our organization. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in systems architecture, design, and execution. This position requires collaboration with clients to grasp their business needs, offering expert insights on system design, and ensuring the effective rollout of intricate systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and create scalable, resilient, and secure system architectures tailored to client specifications.
  2. Develop comprehensive architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications.
  3. Guarantee systems are crafted with an emphasis on high availability, dependability, and performance.
  4. Engage directly with clients to comprehend their business objectives, requirements, and challenges.
  5. Provide expert recommendations and guidance on system architecture solutions.
  6. Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
  7. Act as the technical lead on projects, steering engineering teams through design and execution.
  8. Ensure compliance with best practices in systems architecture, security, and regulatory standards.
  9. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical personnel.
  10. Oversee the deployment and integration of systems architecture solutions.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with existing systems.
  12. Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges during implementation.
  13. Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  14. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements in systems architecture.
  15. Contribute to the creation of internal tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
  16. Maintain thorough documentation for all systems architecture initiatives.
  17. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  18. Ensure documentation is accessible and current for future reference.

About You

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  2. 7+ years of experience in systems architecture, engineering, or consulting roles.
  3. Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex systems architectures.
  4. Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated services.
  5. Experience with virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.
  6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams and managing client relationships.
  9. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, etc.) are advantageous.

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $133,000 - $209, % bonus.
