Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join our CENTRUS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing technical design and contract documents, working with senior team members to validate designs, and providing technical design solutions for construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical design solutions for construction projects, including interior and exterior assemblies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to produce technical design and contract documents.
  • Validate designs and deliverables to ensure compliance with technical guidelines, code requirements, and regulations.
  • Provide technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
  • Assist the dedicated site team and prepare documentation for contract administration.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in architectural or building technology from a technical college.
  • 10+ years' working experience as a technologist or technician for an architectural consulting firm.
  • Experience leading BIM projects.
  • Construction site experience.
  • Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam.
  • Professional registration in a provincial association dedicated to technologists will be considered an asset.
