About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly qualified and seasoned Systems Architecture Consulting Engineer to contribute to our projects. The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in systems architecture, design, and execution. This position entails collaborating closely with clients to comprehend their business needs, offering expert insights on system design, and ensuring the effective implementation of intricate systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and architect scalable, resilient, and secure system frameworks that align with client requirements.
  • Produce comprehensive architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications.
  • Guarantee that systems are crafted with an emphasis on high availability, dependability, and performance.
  • Engage directly with clients to grasp their business objectives, requirements, and challenges.
  • Provide expert counsel and recommendations on system architecture strategies.
  • Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Act as the technical lead on projects, directing engineering teams through design and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in systems architecture, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical personnel.
  • Supervise the deployment and integration of systems architecture solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with existing systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges during implementation.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements in systems architecture.
  • Contribute to the creation of internal tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all systems architecture initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure documentation is accessible and current for future reference.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems architecture, engineering, or consulting roles.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex systems architectures.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated services.
  • Experience with virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams and managing client relationships.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, etc.) are a plus.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $133,000 - $209,000, plus bonus.
