Cybersecurity Trainer

Toronto Metropolitan University is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Trainer & Content Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cybersecurity training programs, workshops, and scenarios to enhance skill development and knowledge on cybersecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop training programs, workshops, and scenarios to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cybersecurity industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality training content.
- Deliver training programs, workshops, and scenarios to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering instructional training workshops and scenarios in cybersecurity-related fields.
- Experience as an instructor/trainer, including content/curriculum development and delivering programming through virtual platforms and in-classrooms.
- Experience developing eLearning strategies, including familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Strong technical experience in one or more cybersecurity domains.
- Completion of advanced certifications such as OSCP, GCIH, CISSP, or RHCSA.
