About the Role
Toronto Metropolitan University is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Trainer & Content Developer to join the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cybersecurity training programs, workshops, and scenarios to enhance skill development and knowledge on cybersecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop training programs, workshops, and scenarios to meet the needs of targeted learners.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on cybersecurity industry best practices and training.
- Conduct industry research and analysis on cybersecurity practices, new and existing technologies, and training developments.
- Oversee program administration, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Co-create, promote, and market cybersecurity training products and services to potential clients.
Requirements
- Postsecondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering instructional training workshops in cybersecurity-related fields.
- Experience as an instructor/trainer, including content/curriculum development and delivery through virtual platforms and in-classrooms.
- Experience developing eLearning strategies, including familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Strong technical experience in one or more cybersecurity domains.
- Advanced certifications such as OSCP, GCIH, CISSP, or RHCSA.
