About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using state-of-the-art computer systems and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including tire repair, car heating and air conditioning, steering and suspension, belts and hoses, radiator and engine cooling systems, batteries, starting and charging, brake repair, oil services, check engine light, mufflers and exhaust services, and visual safety and courtesy inspections.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to ensure the highest level of service quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an automotive repair specialist or vehicle technician.
  • Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of personal productivity and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
  • Experience using shop equipment, including lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools.
  • Provincial Certificate of Qualification and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to service both import and domestic vehicles.

Competitive hourly rate of $30.00 per hour.
