Job Summary

York Electronics 2010 Ltd. is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, and replacing parts and components of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, Repair, or Replace Automotive Systems: Utilize your technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Verify that repaired systems meet manufacturer specifications, guaranteeing exceptional quality and reliability.
  • Electrical and Electronic System Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including diagnostics and ignition systems.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, and maintaining a bondable status.
  • Transportation and Travel: Possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess necessary tools and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accuracy, client focus, dependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgment, reliability, and teamwork.
  • Workplace Information: Work on the road, with a permanent work term, group insurance benefits, and a 40-44 hour workweek.
