About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repairer to join our team at 5035424 ONTARIO INC. as a Collision Repair Specialist. As a key member of our body shop team, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports and plan repair work to be performed.
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality results and professionalism in customer service.
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components as needed.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, and mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces, and repair or replace interior components.
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs, and mix paint, blend, and match colors.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, and straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry.
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • Excellent attention to detail and physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
