Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Impact Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth of our organization.

About the Role:

The Financial Operations Coordinator will be responsible for processing high volumes of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendors and suppliers. They will also enter invoices into the system, prepare cheques, and manage AP-related inquiries.

This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in AP/AR or general accounting tasks and a diploma or degree in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process EFT payments and weekly bank deposits
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, file GST/PST returns, and compile AR summary reports
  • Support year-end audits and perform ad hoc duties as needed

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in AP/AR or general accounting tasks
  • Diploma or degree in accounting
  • Experience working with Yardi is an asset
