About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Quality Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing multiple IT Quality teams or functional areas, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quality Engineering Leadership
  • Develop and implement quality engineering strategies and standards to ensure consistency and quality of processes across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement testing strategies and approaches.
Team Management
  • Manage and lead multiple IT Quality teams or functional areas, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Develop and implement methods for cost, effort, and milestones of IT Quality activities.
Process Improvement
  • Analyze trends at an organizational level to improve processes and follow industry trends.
  • Develop and implement metrics-based process improvements.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate and collaborate with local and global stakeholders, including QA teams, production support teams, environment management teams, and DBA teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project stability and productivity.
Risk Management
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
  1. Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience
  • 6+ years IT Testing experience required.
  • 6+ years hands-on knowledge of Testing & QA practices, Quality Engineering principles, and tool-sets.
  • 3+ years' experience in managing teams.
Skills
  • Strong experience in automation testing on multiple projects.
  • Strong experience in Service level testing (Knowledge of Kafka & Flink a plus).
  • Proficient in building Automation frameworks from Scratch & strong skillset in Java.
  • Strong experience using QA Automation tools like Selenium for both UI & API Automation using Java.
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java, SQL, Python & Excel functions.
