As a Quality Assurance Lead, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Roche's regulatory and essential IT systems maintain reliability, compliance, and acceptable risk standards. You will play a pivotal role in the continuous evolution and enhancement of Roche Informatics, serving as a trusted partner in Quality management innovations.
Your leadership will guide IT Quality strategies, exemplifying lean methodologies, and striving for streamlined, simplified processes by leveraging digital technologies, automation, AI, cloud solutions, data analytics, and a quality-by-design approach, all while implementing a risk-based framework.
You will advocate for agile, networked working methods, employing creative leadership styles (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach) to unlock the potential of your team members, fostering an environment rich in culture, belonging, personal growth, collaboration, and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading a team of specialists, providing independent oversight for systems sensitive to regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Establishing and defining guardrails, standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and frameworks in close partnership with Product Teams to facilitate swift decision-making and value realization. Monitoring and guiding the IT organization to ensure compliance with SOPs and policies, promoting awareness of new regulatory mandates, and conducting regular risk assessments. Encouraging external innovation by staying informed about industry trends and developments. Comprehending business compliance drivers and ensuring seamless transitions between Quality Management systems. Aligning Quality & Compliance frameworks within the second line of control functions in Roche Informatics. Integrating compliance into lean and agile processes, enabling teams to focus on delivering compliant systems efficiently.Qualifications and Experience:
Approximately 5 years of proven experience as a thought leader in a relevant field, with a deep understanding of emerging GxP regulations, ITIL processes, and related disciplines. A strong focus on the IT market, with a passion for researching significant trends that can benefit Roche. Experience in building high-performing teams founded on trust, collaboration, and employee development. Ability to lead through influence, motivation, and development, inspiring employees and senior leadership across all organizational levels. A collaborative approach to leadership, bringing individuals together to work towards a common goal across organizational boundaries. Demonstrated executive presence, strong business acumen, and the capability to navigate ambiguity and manage complexity. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders globally. Fluency in English is required.
