Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Role at Boston Scientific

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining quality assurance methodologies, systems, and practices that align with organizational, client, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key representative for quality, enhancing awareness, communication, and visibility regarding quality initiatives. The position also provides support for ongoing operational and system/service projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams under the direction of the Quality Manager/Team Lead
  • Utilize systematic problem-solving techniques to identify and address quality challenges
  • Create effective business systems for the resolution of quality concerns
  • Actively research and apply leading quality practices
  • Possess knowledge in Risk Management
  • Ensure timely achievement of project milestones
  • Foster positive relationships within cross-functional teams
  • Establish and uphold objectives and compliance with quality systems
  • Draft Quality Plans and Project Tracking Plans
  • Adhere to quality policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in risk management or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with lean methodologies and six sigma practices
  • Strong communication skills for effective data presentation
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the medical device sector
  • Technical or mechanical expertise
  • Experience with manufacturing transfer projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Proven leadership in problem-solving within a manufacturing support context
