Humber River Health is a leading healthcare provider in North West Toronto, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and innovative solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team at Humber River Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with oncologists, palliative/supportive care physicians, and program leaders to provide direct and comprehensive care to patients.

About the Role
  • Assess, coordinate, and provide services to patients and families, including crisis intervention and short-term management
  • Integrate best practice guidelines and current evidence-based research into clinical practice for in-patient and ambulatory clinic for oncology and oncology palliative population

You will have the opportunity to participate and lead quality improvement initiatives and make recommendations for change in consultation with the Program Director, Manager, and Physician Leader.

Your leadership skills will be utilized to provide training, coaching, and education related to evidence-based Oncology practice and knowledge among team members.

About You
  • NP - Primary Health Care, or NP-Adult RN(EC)
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum 3 years experience in acute oncology and systemic therapy experience
  • Masters degree in Nursing
  • Member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (preferred)
  • Oncology Nursing Certification (CNA), preferred
