Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our manufacturing plant in the Eastern Townships. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and alignment with our company's overall strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including production, sales and marketing, accounting, human resources, and labour relations.
  • Supervise business operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Develop and support a highly motivated management team.
  • Define short-, medium-, and long-term objectives in conjunction with our Regional Director of Operations.
  • Represent the company at conferences, business meetings, and other corporate events.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Work with Senior Leadership to implement strategic initiatives.
Your Profile:
  • University degree in engineering or business administration.
  • Minimum 10 years in the manufacturing sector and 5 years in a strategic management position.
  • Solid background in managing labour relations in a union environment.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to synthesize, strategize, and work in a team.
