Addiction Treatment Centre Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinic Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres. As a Clinic Nurse, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency.
Working in a busy clinic environment, you will have the opportunity to interact with diverse and culturally sensitive clients while delivering exceptional support and treatment. Your excellent communication skills, ability to work within a team, and commitment to providing high-quality care make you an ideal candidate for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency
- Interact with diverse and culturally sensitive clients while delivering exceptional support and treatment
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate treatment plans
- Perform ECGs, venipuncture, urine drug screening supervision, and testing, as well as administer injections and ensure proper documentation
- Completion of a Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Previous experience in addiction treatment and/or a similar field
- A member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario
- Completes yearly CNO Quality Assurance certification
- Provision of a recent and acceptable Criminal Reference Check
- Phlebotomy and Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) are an asset
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification is required
