Job Title: Dry Cleaning Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Dry Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dry cleaning department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery, monitoring quality and production levels, and requisitioning or ordering materials and supplies as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment and machinery.
- Monitor quality and production levels to ensure that our high standards are met.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring that they are used safely and efficiently.
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our dry cleaning and laundry workers, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that our department runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a dry cleaning or laundry environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
