About the Team:
The eCommerce team at Cova is driving innovation by helping retailers extend their reach and discoverability online using digital marketing and SEO. Our POS and eCommerce solution powers a cohesive in-store and online experience, engaging customers and fostering long-term relationships with our retailers.
Following an acquisition in 2022, the eCommerce Team is growing to meet the demand for our cutting-edge solutions.
About the Role:
As our Ecommerce Product Leader, you'll collaborate closely with other product managers, designers, sales, marketing, and operations teams to create a best-in-class online shopping experience for cannabis consumers across North America. You'll work directly with our Technical Lead and global engineers to deliver impactful solutions benefiting both retailers and consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product principles and practices for discovery and analysis to inform your product roadmap
- Engage with cannabis retailers and consumers to gather insights and validate assumptions, advocating for their needs
- Maintain alignment with other product managers and customer-facing stakeholders through regular collaboration
- Become an expert on customer segments, markets, and competition to contribute to Cova's overall product strategy
- Communicate and advocate for the product vision throughout the company
- Partner with Marketing and Operations departments to create go-to-market strategies and plans
- Prioritize ruthlessly to deliver customer value early and often through our agile product development process
- Define and measure key performance indicators to track and monitor product performance
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of product management experience in eCommerce or B2B SaaS companies
- A proven track record of shipping products while balancing idealism with pragmatism
- A natural tendency to challenge the status quo, asking questions, and actively listening to data and evidence to validate assumptions
- Experience creating and sharing strategic product roadmaps, connecting cross-functional teams to company objectives and customer value
- Proficiency with tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, MS OneDrive, Confluence/Wiki, Aha)
- A commitment to continuous improvement in your career and craft
