Director of Product Support - Transportation

Brandt seeks a highly skilled Director of Product Support - Transportation to lead our parts and service support functions. This strategic leader will be responsible for the profitability of the parts and service business in the Brandt Peterbilt locations. You will develop our strategic business plan and oversee the development of support capabilities of staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive business plan for our customer support Transportation business and execute it through the branch operations.
  • Design and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that our warranty policy is in place and work with our Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on systems and conflict resolution.
  • Identify market trends and lead the launch of new products.
  • Assist with new supplier identification and contract negotiation.
  • Manage Product Improvement Plans (PIPs) and follow up with completion reports to the branches.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and branches to resolve customer support issues.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and liaison with factories on technical matters.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of Transportation dealer business practices, including those followed at Paccar dealerships.
  • Understanding of customer support processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of business policies and procedures, including those of our OEMs.
  • Knowledge of products, customers, markets, and competitors.
