Commercial Mortgage Operations Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Mortgage Operations Specialist to join our team at CMLS Financial. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end Commercial Servicing administration works and operations, including post-funding transactions, loan advances, borrower, investor, CMHC and other requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the life cycle of a mortgage portfolio.
- Manage a variety of interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze documents to meet business requirements.
- Identify and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders to help make business critical decisions.
- Understand the importance of compliance in today's marketplace.
- Stay current with market research and market trends.
Requirements:
- Results-driven with strong organizational and administration skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in analytical and numerical skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office user.
- Demonstrates professionalism, judgment, and integrity.
- Passion for real estate lending business.
- Self-motivated, process-oriented, and possesses strong administration and operation skills.
- Ownership and accountability for work, ability to meet tight deadlines, and handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (preferred).
- Undergraduate degree or nearing completion in Real Estate, Business Administration, Math, Accounting, Insurance, or Economics.
- Experience in the banking, credit union, or financial services industry is an asset.
