Senior Commercial Mortgage Coordinator

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Commercial Mortgage Coordinator to join our team at Peoples Trust in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary. As a key member of our mortgage operations department, you will be responsible for preparing and typing commitment letters, documentation, and other general correspondence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and type commitment letters, documentation, and Anti-Money Laundering Schedules;
- Follow up with clients on due diligence requirements for CMHC and Conventional Commercial Mortgages;
- Process renewal summaries and prepare MBS and conventional Renewal Agreements;
- Ensure that renewal agreements have been fully executed and all conditions have been satisfied;
- Complete first AML scan for renewals and forward the renewal package to the Administration Department;
- Input information into loan origination and banking systems;
- Save documents on commercial drive and order online corporate reports, property assessments, and credit bureau reports;
- Prepare correspondence to CMHC regarding special conditions and compliance as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role with commercial mortgages;
- Mortgage or real estate office experience and/or a Post-Secondary Degree in Administration is an asset;
- A strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering regulations;
- The ability to multitask and switch priorities in a high-volume environment;
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Bilingualism in French is an asset.
