As a Registered Nurse - Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents on a 24-hour basis. Reporting to the Director of Care or designate, you will be responsible for delegating work to staff on the unit, in accordance with legislated standards. This includes adhering to the Ontario College of Nurses, the Ministry of Health, and Huron Lodge Policy Manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegating work to staff on the unit
  • Ensuring staff work in a safe and healthy manner
  • Attending mandatory-in-service training
  • Maintaining professional relations with residents, families, and fellow staff

Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
  • Medium level of physical demands
  • Post-offer agility test
  • Courteous and tactful communication
  • Previous experience in geriatrics an asset

Working Hours:

  • 07:00 hours – 15:00 hours (Day Shifts)
  • 15:00 hours – 23:00 hours (Evening Shifts)
  • 23:00 hours – 07:00 hours (Night Shifts)
