Homewood Health Centre Inc. is seeking a dedicated Adult Community Psychiatrist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients with mental health disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in mental health care.
Requirements:
  • Specialist certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPS) or equivalent body.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and influence with proven critical thinking, analysis, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in fostering integrated care involving both mental health and addictions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to infection prevention and control needs of the hospital.
