Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $175,000 and $225,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Job Description

This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop, support, and set direction for our Application Security program. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with product engineering leaders across the organization and collaborating effectively with other security teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop growth plans for the team based on existing needs, including training, conference, and sourcing budget.
  • Establish good working relationships with vulnerability management and product teams through program and product reviews.
  • Execute threat modeling or pentesting opportunities and establish what KPIs or SLAs define excellence on the team.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in security or software development, with at least 2 years in application security and management. They should also have proven experience with security tooling, security architecture, or offensive security.
