Cloudflare Security and Performance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Security and Performance Consultant to join our team at Cloudflare, Inc.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for providing technical guidance and implementation services to our enterprise customers. As a Consultant, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver timely and organized solutions that maximize the value of their Cloudflare investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute projects, ensuring successful delivery of services to customers.
- Collaborate with customers to gather business and technical requirements, and develop solution designs, deployment plans, and migration strategies.
- Implement changes on behalf of customers in the Cloudflare environment, following customer change management processes.
- Troubleshoot implementation issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical escalations.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing activities, such as documentation, Q&A sessions, and best practice iteration.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably as a Customer Engineer, Security Engineer, or Implementation Engineer.
- In-depth understanding of internet and security technologies, including DDoS protection, web application firewalls, certificates, DNS, CDN, analytics, and logs.
- Demonstrated experience with security aspects of internet properties, such as DNS, WAFs, bot management, rate limiting, and (M)TLS.
- Performance aspects of internet properties, including speed, latency, caching, HTTP/3, and TLSv1.3.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and strong experience with APIs.
- Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle uncertainty.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in a second regional European language preferred.
Benefits:
- $125,000 - $150,000 per year salary
- 30% travel allowance
- Monday to Friday working hours, with occasional weekend support
