Scientist, Analytical Method Developer

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Analytical Development team and contribute to the development of platform analytical methods for use across various functions in Process Development.
You will be responsible for developing and qualifying analytical methods, establishing high-resolving methods for QC lot release, and high-throughput methods to support process development activities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development, qualification, and transfer of analytical methods across different technologies (LC, CE, UV-Vis, etc)
- Developing new analytical methods to support release testing and product characterization
- Performing routine analyses of samples to support monoclonal antibody process development
- Generating high-quality data for method development, qualification, and product characterization
- Presenting analytical data to stakeholders across CMC and Discovery teams
- Staying up-to-date with technological advances in analytical chemistry
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with 2-5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of experience
- Experience working in therapeutic protein characterization in academia or industry
- Proven technical ability to execute and troubleshoot experiments through rational and critical thinking
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask to meet critical timelines
- Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks (e.g., Benchling), experimental data capture, and 21 CFR part 11 compliance requirements
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
What We Offer:
The salary range for this role is CAD $60,500 - $75,600 per year, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, we offer equity, an annual bonus tied to team and company performance, a 6% RRSP contribution, and comprehensive health benefits.
