Humber River Health is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our inter-disciplinary professional team, you will deliver exceptional assessment and treatment for patients with chronic and acute cardio pulmonary illness.
Key Responsibilities- Providing therapeutic, diagnostic, and respiratory services to patients
- Ensuring the efficient delivery of respiratory services
- Continually evaluating the effectiveness of therapies given to patients
- Knowledge and experience with ventilation, airway management, and spirometry, arterial blood gas collection, art line insertion, endotracheal intubation/extubation, home oxygen assessment
- Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy
- NRP and BCLS certification
- A member in good standing with the C.R.T.O
- A member of R.T.S.O and C.S.R.T. preferred
- 2 years acute care hospital experience preferred
- Evidence of sound organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
