HealthPRO Heritage is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Bakerfield, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care and experience working with patients who require rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat patients with a range of physical and cognitive impairments, using a variety of therapeutic techniques and assistive devices.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
- Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on how to maintain functional abilities and prevent further decline.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities and develop plans to improve their independence and quality of life.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a clear and concise manner, using standardized procedures and guidelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current license/certification in the state of California.
- Experience working with geriatric patients and rehabilitation services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
