Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Railway Track Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Jaap Transport Ltd. This is a permanent position offering 40 hours of work per week, with a competitive salary of CAD $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Transport tools and equipment on push or hand cars to support track maintenance operations
  • Assist railway track maintenance workers in laying, maintaining, and repairing railway tracks
  • Perform labouring duties in warehouses, including lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) of materials
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; will train on the job
  • Ability to work in various locations, including outdoors and in warehouse settings
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks
  • Own steel-toed safety boots for work purposes
Work Environment
