About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Fourteen 14 Food Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food service staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring we always have the right stock levels.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining the reputation of Fourteen 14 Food Co.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our operations team.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring they are presented to the highest standard.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for our food service staff, ensuring we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the role.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering stability and security for the right candidate.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace, with a strong focus on effective communication.
  • Hours: The successful candidate will work approximately 32-35 hours per week, providing a healthy work-life balance.
