We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to order, using a variety of ingredients and cooking techniques.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is presented in a clean and appealing manner.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
