About the Role

Dana Hospitality is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using different cooking methods, including grilling, roasting, and sautéing.
  • Ensure that all meals are prepared within the allocated food budget and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Operate commercial kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, and steamers, to prepare and cook meals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a hospitality or food service setting.
  • Food Safety certification and WHMIS training.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
