Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Resource Worker to join our team at the York Region District School Board. As an Educational Resource Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide educational support to students with varying abilities and learning needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent, as well as experience working with students with diverse learning needs. A strong understanding of child development and learning theories is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
