Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to join our team at Lifemark. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans for clients with hand and upper extremity injuries or conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' hand and upper extremity function to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in hand therapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) is required.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with the relevant professional college.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
