Recreational Therapist

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team. As a Recreational Therapist, you will work with patients to develop and implement treatment plans that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult with healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes.
- Record observations and write progress reports to track patient progress.
- Implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic activities to patients.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and reporting on patient progress.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Dental, health, and vision care benefits.
- 37.5 hours of work per week.
- Temporary employment opportunity.
